E-charging stations on the Hintertux Glacier

There are eight charging sockets for electric vehicles near the new underground car park "Aue". This is located near the valley station in Hintertux. You always pay the fees according to the contract you have with your card provider. As the rates strongly depend on your card provider(Roaming) we recommend to buy a local card from the TIWAG or charge via their app. The wallboxes are equipped with the type 2 plug which is the standard plug for accelerated charging in Europe.  and with the conventional type F (safety contact plug) for normal charging. A maximum output of 22.2 kW can be made available via the Type 2 connection. The Tyrolean state energy supplier "TIWAG-Tiroler Wasserkraft AG" provides the charging systems on the one hand and electrical energy from 100% renewable energy sources on the other hand.

In Lanersbach at the Eggalm Bahnen there are free outdoor parking spaces available directly at the valley station as well as parking spaces at the Tux-Center next door. Parking garage at the Tux-Center available for a fee.

In Vorderlanersbach at the Rastkogel Bahnen there are free outdoor parking spaces directly at the valley station. In addition, there are other outdoor parking spaces within walking distance at the entrance to Vorderlanersbach.
